Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection, or ICSI is a technique that is used when by doctors when sperm count or mobility is low.  Low count or motility is a common form of male infertility and ICSI is a great option that can address the cause of unsuccessful pregnancy, especially when the woman does not appear to have any health concerns or issues impacting her ability to get pregnant.

IVF combined with I.C.S.I IVF is a process whereby a single sperm is injected directly into the egg for fertilization.  The process has allowed for some infertility clinics in  to see their IVF success rates soar in instances where male fertility issues, such as inactive sperm or low count were present.
